Back in the woods near South Woodstock, Vermont there’s a little place we call the Sugar House. It’s a place where we believe that tradition and the old style way of doing things are still the best way to create the best products. Our family has been making Orchard Hill Maple Syrup the same way since the 1840’s, and we’re sure that there’s no better product on the market today. Too much of the maple syrup on the market today is created in large batches that are quick boiled by big corporations. We feel that this kind of mass production takes away from the natural goodness of maple syrup that’s been slow boiled over a wood fire and allowed to cook down slowly and naturally, the way maple syrup was originally made. Maple syrup is our passion, it’s our way of life up here, we don’t do it because we have to make it, we do it because we love doing it, and we love to share it with our friends and family. We hope you can taste the difference between our product and that mass produced product that you can find just about anywhere, and we believe that one taste of our pure, rich tasting maple syrup will make you as much a believer as we are.
